Can you tell that I’m excited about fall? I’ve been writing so much lately about sweaters and transitional clothing that I think some of you are praying for winter, lol. For those of you who don’t love sweaters, or live in climates where it doesn’t get super cold, don’t worry. I haven’t forgotten you! Today, I’m sharing the best accessories for a fashionable fall.
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Scarves
I’ve always loved wearing scarves in the fall. I’m always cold, and a scarf is handy for keeping your neck warm or wrapping around your shoulders. This is a lightweight scarf, and I wanted to wear it with this super soft turtleneck sweater to bring out the blue tones.
Not everything fall has to be orange. I do love a traditional fall leaf color palette, but I know some of you prefer neutrals, so I thought I’d start with this pretty black-and-white plaid. Shh. Don’t tell anyone that it has pale pink, too. This is an easy way to incorporate fall into your wardrobe without spending a ton of money. It’s just $12 dollars and has a 4.4-star rating!
Now we’re talking fall! I LOVE these bold colors. This scarf is oversized, so you’ll be able to wear it as a scarf or a shawl. Wouldn’t this look great with some brown corduroys or skinny jeans and boots? Only $13 dollars! This would be a great gift for a person with a fall birthday, too. Wrap it around the handle of a cute bag and throw in a fall candle, and you’re set.
Finally, here’s a scarf in muted fall colors for those of you who don’t like bright hues. I’m talking to you, Sister! This is the least expensive of all at only $9 dollars. I have to say I really do like the camel colors in this. It would look great with a camel or white wool coat.
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Shawls
Navy is a great fall color! Navy is actually a great ANYTIME color, but not everyone thinks of it when considering a fall wardrobe. This shawl/ruana should change that. It’s not only great in navy, it’s reversible! If you don’t love this combination, there are many, many others. It’s been reviewed over 4,000 times and has a 4.4-star rating. Plus, it’s just $34 dollars.
How about a lovely camel pashmina wrap?! This is billed as a “cashmere feel,” which means it’s really soft without being really expensive! It’s very affordable at $17 dollars. This would be great with jeans, but throw on a pair of black pants and a black turtleneck, and you will be so CHIC. No one would believe it was under $20 dollars.
If you don’t want the “feel” of cashmere but rather have the real deal, then this Mongolian Cashmere Wrap is for you! I have this wrap in the oatmeal color, and it is so soft and perfect for traveling on a plane, etc.
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Headgear
Hats are still very much a thing! I’ve been sitting out in the cold watching football games for a while now, and I’m sorry, but I’m not a beanie type of girl. Maybe if I were to go on a ski trip, but I just never look good in them. You either love hats or you don’t. A LOT of people love this one. It’s been reviewed over 19,000 times and has a rating of 4.5 stars!
A headband is another easy and inexpensive way to incorporate fall into your wardrobe. These work with short or long hair and would be great paired with a cute pair of fall earrings. You wouldn’t wear a pashmina to the gym or while running errands in your joggers, but one of these would look super cute. Plus, they are only $12 dollars. If you want to go with something even more fall-ish, try them in velvet!
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Bags
I have looked at a lot of tote bags recently. I love the stitching, the cut-out, and the flat handles. It’s a great size, too. It comes in several other color combinations, but this just looked so much more expensive than the $28 dollar price tag.
For those of you who prefer a crossbody bag, this faux crocodile is gorgeous! This is not a huge bag. This is a throw in your phone, some lipstick, and a small wallet and go walk around town bag. If you’re like me and carry everything but the kitchen sink (and your shoulders pay for it later), you might want to use this for special occasions. It also comes in black, tan, and a bunch of other colors.
I’m sure some of you prefer leather handbags over faux leather, so I wanted to include this shopper tote in Italian Leather. I love all the compartments and that the bag has feet to protect it from the floor. I have several bags by Quince, and they are all high quality. This bag is more expensive than the others, but you would swear it is more expensive than it is.
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Jewelry
Not long ago, I shared these earrings, and they were a huge hit, so I thought I’d show you a similar necklace. This is very dainty, but oh, so pretty! Wouldn’t it look nice with a crisp white shirt or against a black turtleneck? This is also very inexpensive. Believe it or not, it’s just $9 dollars! I love this necklace, but I’d probably spend the extra money and get a nicer chain.
That’s it, ladies! I hope you have found some fall accessories that you love. Get your pumpkin spice latte and get to shopping. 🙂
