I don’t know how things are where you live, but it’s getting cold here in Virginia. The thing is, I love it! For a gurl who loves fashion, you know I like it when I can wear extra clothing, lol. More layers mean more fun! It’s not all about the clothing. Accessories are a great, and inexpensive way to change up your look. Today, I’m sharing the best winter accessories to add to your wardrobe.
I could title this photo as, “Tell me you love the holidays without telling me.” This photo is so festive looking, but it is one that can be worn in many other ways. The classic scarf is a gorgeous winter accessory that is functional and fashionable. It will keep your neck warm and add a lot of pizzazz to your outfit.
The Best Winter Accessories To Add To Your Wardrobe – Scarves
You’ve already seen how a great scarf can change the look of a coat or sweater! I love this cashmere “feel” option from Amazon. The buffalo plaid is a classic, but it’s available in many other options and is around $17 dollars. This scarf would look beautiful worn with a red coat like this one. It’s got a lot of great reviews and a 4.7-star rating!
I love a knitted scarf on a cold day. This is long and chunky, so it really makes a statement. The pink would look good against any dark coat or sweater, and it also looks great with the ivory sweater. It’s also available in black.
Here’s another cashmere “feel” scarf that I had to include. This pattern is called “Autumn Check,” and I just love it. The scarf measures 78 x 26 inches, so not too long, and it’s a great medium thickness. The 4-inch fringe is a fun detail.
The Best Winter Accessories To Add To Your Wardrobe – Gloves
Can we normalize wearing gloves all year round, not just during winter? Remember those old Doris Day movies where she always wore a hat and gloves? I bet her hands were beautiful. At least my gloves can be beautiful! Isotoners are a well-known brand that I’ve worn for years. I wanted to show you these microsuede versions with a fur cuff in grey so that you could see the details, but they’re also available in black, brown, and pink.
I love these cable knit gloves lined with thermal fleece! They also feature touchscreen fingers which is a MUST these days. I’d share these for the gloves alone, but it’s nice that you can get the whole three-piece set for under $30 dollars. This would make a great last-minute Christmas gift because who doesn’t want to stay warm this winter? Also, how cute is that beanie with a top pom-pom?!? I love this neutral color, but they are also available in black and grey.
Cashmere-lined leather gloves? YES, please! Nordstrom has such great things. These are gorgeous and functional. They’ll keep your hands warm, cozy, and functioning. They have touchscreen fingertips, so scrolling or making a phone call is still doable. I love the elegance of black, but they are also available in brown.
The Best Winter Accessories To Add To Your Wardrobe – Hats
Y’all should know by now how I feel about UGGs, but in case you’ve missed it, I’m a FAN. I have boots, socks, and a robe from UGG, and I’ve never been disappointed. This wide-cuff beanie is a no-brainer! I like black because it goes with almost everything, but it’s also available in a very pretty color called “pond”. It’s blue/green for those of you wondering. lol.
Who knew that everything my dad wears working construction would be so popular on a fashion blog! Flannel, shackets, and now – Carhartt! These beanies are EVERYWHERE. There are several styles and colors, but I thought this pom-pom option was feminine.
I like the look of beanies, but if they’re too tight, they can give me a headache. Yay, for earmuffs! Not only do these fit nicely so my head doesn’t hurt, they don’t mess up my hair like a typical beanie. These wrap around the back of your head so your hair will still look cute. 🙂 Another great product from UGG.
Here’s another great alternative to the typical beanie. This headband will keep your ears warm, and allow for ponytails, braids, etc. It would also work great for sporting activities like pickleball or snow skiing. Available in just about any color you can imagine, this is a great buy at approximately $17 dollars.
Are you spending any time outside? I’d love to hear what winter accessory you’re adding to your wardrobe.
