Following its launch in Spain, Lululemon will market its goods on Zalando, a European e-commerce platform for fashion and lifestyle. Zalando will disperse Lululemon’s merchandise through its partnership programme and shipping service in addition to its physical stores.
According to the release, customers can browse Lululemon’s clothes and accessories for yoga, running, training, and other activities in Zalando’s Fashion Store.
Lululemon selected Zalando as its business partner to market its products to clients in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the Netherlands, according to the statement.
The relationship with Zalando represents Lululemon’s ongoing growth in Europe. The athletic store revealed intentions to offer its apparel in Barcelona, Madrid, and Calle Serrano, three Spanish cities, in July 2022. The action was a component of their strategy to generate $12.5 billion in yearly income by 2026.
Lululemon announced ambitions to expand in its present overseas markets, including as South Korea, Germany, the U.K., and Australia, as well as offer its goods in Thailand and Italy in addition to Spain. By 2026, the company plans to add 70 outlets in China, bringing the total to 220.
“At Lululemon, we are focused on ensuring that our guests can connect with our brand and our ranges whenever and however they want,” Sarah Clark, senior vice president of EMEA at Lululemon, said in a statement.
